On 5th March, 1915, the 2nd West Riding battalion of 13 Brigade, 5th Division, moved into the front line at Ypres where they remained until relieved on 10th March. On this, their final day in the trenches, Ronald Vincent was one of two men killed by trench mortar fire. |
